Since 2007 AquaBiota has annually conducted diving and snorkeling inventories of bottom vegetation. We have experience from surveys in the Kattegat, the Baltic Proper and the Gulf of Bothnia as well as a large number of lakes and streams. Most inventories have been carried out according to national methods for environmental monitoring of underwater vegetation. The purpose of the methods is to describe the coverage of all sessile plant and animal species and the presence of mobile animals. The results are presented in report form and are made available in the national database for marine surveys.
For us at AquaBiota security is a priotiry and we always follow the Swedish Work Environment Authority’s provisions for diving work.
