Martin has founded AquaBiota and is currently the managing director. He works with a range of research issues within marine ecology. Effects of wind power production on the marine environment has been a main topic over 15 years. He has also extensive experience of modelling of marine organisms and habitats with the aid of geographical information systems (GIS). Before founding AquaBiota, he worked at NIVA in Oslo for two years. Martin received his PhD in plant ecology at Stockholm University in 2004. Martin’s thesis focused on the ecology of bladder wrack in the Baltic Sea.
